Stepped in step of the Arctos Robotics project
Arctos Robotics, what is it?
In 2023, a community of enthusiasts launched the Arctos Robotics project, a robotic arm designed mainly for DIY and learning the basics of robotics while having fun. This open source project aims to offer an innovative and precise solution for various manipulations in research or educational.
In a series of tutorial videos, I present to you each step in the realization of this robotic arm.The first video in this series approaches several crucial aspects:
Presentation of the project: a complete introduction to Arctos Robotics.
Why this project?: Motivations and objectives behind the development of this robotic arm.
How to carry out this project?: A detailed guide to the steps to follow to build the robotic arm.
Material required: a list of tools and materials required for manufacturing.
Printing of the first parts: Using the Bambulab Silk PLA to print decorative parts and caches.
Printing rendering analysis: an assessment of the qualities and defects of printed parts.
Conclusion and overview of the suite: an explanation of the next steps, in particular the impression of technical filaments for the structure of the robotic arm.
Committed sponsors
This project is supported by two main sponsors: le-blab.fr , for the visibility of this project) and Bambu Lab, for participation in filaments used to print the necessary pieces.
