HPPS (high performance panel system)
HPPS is a community project to market a tailor -made silicone foam panels for the X1/X1C/X1E.
HPPS is a crowdfunding community project designed to improve X1, in particular for professional users using “high temperature” materials (ABS/ASA/PC/Nylon) in prototyping and/or production applications.
Before HPPS, the silicone foam panels were not viable due to the high cost of silicone foam panels (HPPS costs around $ 500 USD for a quantity of 5).
Community crowdfunding allows this material and this design to be used by a large number at the lowest possible cost.
If a low room temperature (delta) is required (i.e. the printing of PLA in an environment at 20 ° C), HPPS can be completely attenuated with a rising upper glass column printed in standard 3D.
(A formal design of HPPS rising column is in progress.) HPPS is designed to withstand abuses and last all the operational life of the machine.
