The smoothing function creates a shape between several sketches.
It seems a bit vague, but we will see several examples.

First example
First we will create a sketch on the XY axis and make a 40 mm circle then leave the sketch.

Now we make a shift plan compared to the 45 mm plane XY.
1 - To select the function: shift plan

Therefore, we make a sketch on this plane, in this sketch, we draw a circle of 60 mm, finally we leave the dodge.

We make a new 30 mm plan offset from the new plan created previously, on this plan, we like a sketch and, on this sketch, a square of 30 mm aside.

Now select the smoothing function.
Select the 3 forms on the 3 sketches.
Second example
We will use the previous example.
Hide the body (1) and display the 3 sketches (3).

Edit the 3 sketches to add a shape via the shift function.
1 - Shift function.
2 - Select the shape to be shifted.
4 - Enter the offset distance, look at the direction of offset, we want a new form inside so we have put -4.
Finally, showing us again the body (1), we check that operation is on cut (2) and we validate with OK (3).

Eg example
We start from a new mobilization, we create a sketch on the ZX axis.
We draw a 120 mm line and a second perpendicular of 80 mm.
You leave the sketch and create a new one on the YX level, on this new plan created you a 40 mm circle.

We are going to create a new plan, let’s not take the line that we have created as a trajectory for this new plan, for this we will use the function: plan along the trajectory, this function is in the Construire menu.

Select the line as a path and bring the new plan to the end of the line.
